The Outdoors New Zealand Excellence Awards
recognises excellence in outdoor education with the
EONZ Best Programme Award and is
presented annually at the
ONZ forum

The award recognizes
that outdoor education and education outside the classroom are
significant dimensions of New Zealand ways of life.
The award is open to pre-school, primary, intermediate and secondary
schools, tertiary institutions and other outdoor programme
providers.
The programme may be student/learner focused, and/or educator
focussed.
