Renewed funding for EONZ kaiārahi

Ongoing availability of dedicated teaching and learning support for EOTC has been secured. This is great news for all teachers involved in EOTC.

This support role was set up at the end of 2017 utilising Networks of Expertise funding. During 2018 the role was held by EONZ kaiārahi, Sophie Hoskins. Now, through further Networks of Expertise funding made available, Sophie can build on the foundation of support she has provided to date.

Sophie is the person to contact with EOTC queries such as around pedagogy, curriculum, and assessments.  She provides advice and guidance predominantly by email or phone, and in electronic or face-to-face meetings.

The support is available across the primary and secondary sectors, with the role a part-time position, equivalent to approximately one day per week.

Sophie can be contacted at kaiarahi@eonz.org.nz.
